Free To Be Me ICU

“Free To Be Me” is an initiative based in Stockton-on-Tees, dedicated to fostering intersectional inclusion and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. Spearheaded by Ellie Lowther, the organisation offers a range of services, including training, mentorship, peer support, and advocacy, all aimed at creating a society that embraces diversity and celebrates individuality.

One of their notable programmes is the Over 50’s LGBTQIA+ Social Space Drop-in, a weekly social group designed to reduce isolation, enhance well-being, and provide a supportive environment for individuals over 50. The group meets at Starfish Health and Wellbeing, located at 6-8 Yarm Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 3NA.
